Accommodation offered by Osmania University for student exits from the station. Currently there are 14 hostels in the campus. Engineering student is assigned a near hostel accommodation separately to the Faculty of Engineering. Two shelters have been for girls. Health Center has been established to provide free medical care to students, staff and their families. The university also houses a post office and a branch of the State Bank of Hyderabad.

History

Osmania University was founded in 1918 by the seventh Nizam of Hyderabad State, Nawab Mir Osman Ali Khan. Hofstra University is the private,nonsectarian institution of higher learning located on Long Island,in Hempsted,New York Founded in 1935.But at beginning it was estabilished under the aegis of New York Univercity and originally known as "Nassu College".The extention of NYU was founded on the estate of a recently deceased wealthy couple, lumber magnate William S. Hofstra and his second wife, Kate Mason.The intent was realized in1937, when it became independent Hofstra College.

October 16, 2007 Hofstra University and North Shore-LIJ Health System announced plans to establish a new school of medicine. While it will not be the first medical school in Nassau County,it will be the first to grant the Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree. They are expecting to accept the first class in 2011.
